christmas presents, round two

Need some inspiration as to what to give those book lovers on your Christmas list? Need something more than an Amazon gift card? Let's see if I can help you out.

“Books should go where they will be most appreciated, and not sit unread, gathering dust on a forgotten shelf, don't you agree?” ~ Christopher Paolini

This might not be exactly what Christopher Paolini had in mind, but these books certainly go places! It certainly seems en vogue to carry your books around with you... literally. Kate Spade recently launched a "book of the month" clutch collection, with great titles ranging from Emma and Pride and Prejudice to Great Exceptions, Dracula and Moby Dick.

If you're thinking that a more personalized touch would be the way to go, Jen over at Epbot (also of Cake Wrecks fame!) created  book cluthes/totes using books that had significance to her, such as:

She also has a fabulous tutorial over at Epbot, which you need to check out if you're at all interested. While you're there, check out some of her book recommendations. I haven't gotten around to reading any of them, but I will (sometime!) when my TBR pile goes down somewhat.

“No furniture is so charming as books.” ~ Sydney Smith
And finally, something that might make some of you cry, while making others squeal with glee. It's a book wreath:

This wreath and its tutorial have been around the blogosphere for quite some time, but it's still the best. Lindsay at Living with Lindsay appropriately named her post "Librarians avert your eyes" when she posted it. It's beautiful, though, and would be a great addition to any book nook.

Hope you got some bookish Christmas ideas. Do you have any go-to Christmas present ideas for those readers in your life?
